CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Ardyn Izunia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Age: Over 2,000
Suitability: Let us know how your character would function in an explicitly sexy fantasy land. How would they take the news? How would they adapt? How would they treat the people around them?

At being thrust into a fantasy land governed by a mistress, Ardyn will find the whole idea rather amusing, since he's not abashed by sex and kinky scenarios. He loves to flirt and flaunt himself at the best of times, so this setting will suit the Chancellor down to the ground. He'd take advantage of situations when they arise and further seek to rise up to exploit anyone or everyone because he can. He'd use sexual bribery to get what he wanted and learn from experiences as they happen.

As for the people around him, Ardyn would try to get on as best as possible, without making too many enemies. Better to have more allies, than too many enemies. He'd engage in sexual encounters as pleasure and also business. This man has no shame whatsoever. He is motivated by gain and greed, so will use his abilities to make something of himself in the sexualised world.

Species: Daemon/Human hybrid
Canon Point: Chapter 14. Just before Ardyn fights Noctis.

History:

HERE

Personality:

Ardyn Izunia is a difficult and rather complex man. At first glance, he is built upon contradictions which make little sense when compared to each other; but upon further inspection and knowledge of his past experiences, all these bizarre pieces come together to neatly form a whole. Explaining Ardyn is probably best starting at the beginning.

Ardyn's full title is Chancellor of Niflheim. It's a impressive one that might inspire the imagery of a stern, strict and unrelenting man. Yet, most are deceived by what they see. The man is fuelled by a sense of humour aimed at everyone around him. He is as flexible as he is silver-tongued and quick witted. This comes with him being who he is; a politician. It seems he isn't phased by much either. He is a master of theatrics and is often sarcastic, yet can turn around at the drop of a hat to deliver compliments to suit any situation. He can come across as confusing and frustrating, since you know he has many layers underneath that charm of his. Shrewdness and intelligence are also some of his strong points, along with being outright cocky and brimming with confidence. It seems he enjoys getting under your skin at times and revels in the fact that he finds himself better than you.

Some of what you see in Ardyn is just a mask, hiding the true man underneath. Looks can be deceiving in this case, as he is much older than most realise. He has lived for over two thousand years. Previously, before the game, Ardyn had spent most of the time floating throughout Eos. He was just a drifter, drifting throughout the ages, not really heard of much. Being an immortal, he tended not to dwell on events or people, since he lived through many lifetimes, seeing their lives being snubbed out within a heartbeat of his existence. Ardyn has come to lack empathy towards others during his long life. This can be seen at a later stage during the game where his darker and more ruthless side are revealed. He kills Lady Lunafreya without so much as a hint of regret. Wiping out her life as if killing a fly or bothersome insect. During Chapter 13, he taunts Noctis throughout, since he is so eager to bring darkness and destruction to Eos, since he seeks revenge on the Caelum line and astrals. This all happened two thousand years ago. The anger and bitterness still very much alive in his black heart. His whole focus is now solely on defeating Noctis and ending the Caelum line. His clouded view taints his mind and soul, causing him to come across as a very angry and bitter man.

The side of Ardyn that most people don't see is the ugly half. Beneath all the smiles, quips and cockiness lies a devious mind. He often uses manipulation in the form of empty words, holding back the truth from those he doesn't want knowing it. He has a calculating mind, which he uses in his job as Chancellor. Ardyn pulls strings from afar, often assumedly aiding Noctis and his friends throughout the game, even though they are technically enemies. He does this because his aim is to transform Noctis into the True King, therefore finally reaching his goal of ending the Lucis Caelum line. In the end this will encompass Noctis' death and his own. There is a lot of cruelty and anger lying within Ardyn making him a very dangerous man underneath. Toying with others and treating people like pawns is one of his sadistic habits. This is seen more towards the end of the game, shining the light on the true man inside.

Ardyn wasn't always such a cruel and twisted man. Thousands of years ago he was a nicer person and had been a King and a good leader, as well as being a healer. He had healed many during the time of the Starscourge. Absorbing the evil and demons from those afflicted, he took it all into himself; a selfless act indeed. During the game he never uses these abilities at all throughout the entire story. The Ardyn that exists within the game differs far from the man that once was. Instead, you have a man who lacks warmth and compassion, not caring for anyone he may hurt or inflict damage upon. Betrayal is something that he achieves with little effort due to his need for revenge. It's like a lust that's eating up his heart, turning it ever colder. The transition between good man and villain is something that is seen further into the game the player delves.

During the final battle between Noctis and Ardyn, he tells Noctis that he's been left in the darkness for ages. His anger is clear to see and you can't help but feel for the man that once was. Blinded by hatred and fierce anger, Ardyn's mind has been warped by the need for revenge on those who had once blighted him. His anger caused him to unleash countless demons onto the world, causing pain and suffering for innocents. Not only does the world have to deal with the demons but Ardyn does too. His body is racked with them. A cursed man destined to live with them inside him forever. This fuels the anger within him turning it into a powerful cocktail of venom to launch at people. All of this because the gods and family turned their backs on him two thousand years ago.

Ardyn is the main game's villain. Yet, being immortal isn't without it's weaknesses. As much as he wants to end the line of the Lucis Caelem, there is a part of him that thirsts for his own death. It's almost as if he wants Noctis to end it all right at the end in the final battle. The chink in the armour is Ardyn showing what's left of his humanity, by goading the young prince on to finish him. It could be his regret shining through or the centuries of living with himself as a man plagued by demons. Yet, Ardyn cannot simply have a blade thrust through his heart. To die, he has to get Noctis to become the True King and kill him in the Beyond. They both have to die to end both Ardyn and the Starscourge.

Abilities/Weaknesses: This section doesn't have to be particularly detailed. We'd just like to know about the powers they may be regaining and things we can use against them. :)

- Can control time using his magical powers.
- Can summon a large ethereal sword, which looks like this.
- Has the power of illusion, which he uses on the train with Noctis, imitating Prompto.
- Has the power of Daemons inside of him, which is the cause of his immortality and immense super human strength.
- Can survive attacks that would otherwise kill a normal man.
- Has great political influence and is a careful strategist.
- He has the power of the Lucian Royal Family and can summon Armiger.
- He can also fly and warp at high speeds.

X Arrogant and self-centred. Often lets his emotions blind his judgement.
X Has a weakness to bright sunlight, since his daemon body prefers the shadow of darkness.
X Has a strong weakness to terrible fashion and awful dress sense.
X Weak to power. His whole life has been about gaining more power to destroy the line of Lucis.

Ardyn wasn't really accustomed to getting down on his knees and scrubbing. That's right; he had chores to do and ones that involved cleaning the castle's stone floors. Lovely. The Chancellor of Niflheim reduced to nothing more than a servant. It was beyond degrading. The mauve-haired man tried not to utter any unwanted expletives, as he got up and stretched. He was over two thousand years old but no one would know that within this sordid world. He certainly wasn't going to tell them that, even if the Mistress knew herself somehow.

"Now then, what should I scrub next for our beloved Mistress?"

He looked around, whilst picking up his cleaning sponge from the bucket of soapy water, noticing the rather oddly-shaped door knocker in front of him. A knob-shaped knob. How fascinating and rather lewd. Ardyn smirked as he began sliding the sponge over the cool metal, feeling the hardness in his palm. It felt like a real penis.

"Ooh, how naughty. Better give this one a few strong strokes."

He began massaging the metal cock handle with vigour whilst rather enjoying himself. It didn't take long for him to clean the knob, noticing the shine on the metal. Good. One less job for him to do, yet there were probably hundreds of knobs to scrub within the vastness of the castle. Better get to it then.
